A downloadable game for Windows

Arena Hill is an open world RPG currently in development. It can be played both online and offline.

Please feel free to check it out and see the game in its early stages.

2025-02-28:

- Added the subsystem for factions

- Greatly expanded the dialogue system, now affected by faction

- Re-balanced some enemies, adjusted the combat system to align more with player expectations

- Added a small number of enemies and quest providers

- Some UI cleanup

2024-12-28:

- New skills system under-the-hood, supports more complex abilities

- New NPCs, enemies, and quests

- New opening camera track

- Bug fixes

2024-08-24:

- Controls menu accessible from the main HUD

- Added UI effects

- Updated quest notifications

- Fixed missing mail quests

- Other bug fixes and performance improvements

Planned changes:

- Target-based skills to be replaced with proximity-based skills

- Reputation window showing different factions and standings.

- All characters can engage in combat, and will respond to reputation. This will impact the ability to start and complete certain quests!

- Map window showing general location

- Options screen with volume and graphics settings

- Player weapons which affect stats

- Player helms and hats

- Lots more content: camps, quests, items, etc

Unzip and run the executable. No admin permissions required.

No account registration necessary.

The bugs & bears outside the tree house area seem to have infinitely regenerating health, super fast. I couldn't even get one past about 80% health
